I just came back for a wonderful trip to the Arctic where my sister and I went to see the Polar Bears! Our trip started in Oslo and from there we flew to Svalbard/Spitsbergen, the region between the 74 and 81 degrees North.
We sailed in an ice-breaker with Quark Expeditions for 10 days, where daylight is continues.
On top of the several polar bears, we also saw walruses, seals, icebergs, the tundra and we also visit Ny-Alesund Arctic international research laboratory, the most northern scientific one in the world.
A fantastic polar adventure!!! We also went kayaking in the Arctic… through the ice!!! Incredible!!!
